Radeon HD 4890 Pictures
Pictures of the supposed Radeon HD 4890 have popped up on a Chinese website. From the looks of it, the only real difference from the HD 4870 is a slightly modified cooler and a different sticker. The HD 4890 keeps the two six pin PCIe power connectors, so it seems that power isn’t drastically higher than it’s predecessor either. More interesting are the clock speeds also shown in the thread: an 850MHz core and 975MHz memory clock. Is it possible that these bumps to the speed will really improve performance that much? Only time will tell. Here is the link.
